Decisions..

I wanna take Power Pleasure Craft Driving Licence(PPCDL)
It's been my desire to jet ski.
I'm allowed to with sponsor
However,
I have to take my driving license first
It's a requirement by my dad.
Rly zzz!
I have yet to take my BTT
In the first place,
I din intend to take driving.
Cos there's always taxis around.
With cab companies blooming.
In my perspective,
It's better to generate money to taxi drivers.
It's their source of living,
Their ricebowl.
Rather than spending it on car taxes and what'snot.
Moreover,
I loathe the system of driving lessons and tests.
It's cumbersome and a pain in the neck.
But now,
I've to seriously reconsider.
No driving license = No pcl
So many things to consider.

Suffocated.
How nice if I can delete some stuff from my brain.
Or have an external port.

On the other hand,
Maybe not.

Those were the days..

Woke up with an even worst flu spell.
Realised I lost my voice when my mom asked me smth.
lol.
Before I left house,
it started to rain cats and dogs.
Zzzzzzz
During the bus ride,
The rainpour was cosy and calm.
Weirdly,
It felt like it was soothing my sickness.
But when I alighted from the bus,
All the sickness came "ah-choo" back
Met Ling and Denise.
We reminisced about the past during sec school days.
Although I din speak much as I was "ah-chooing" away,
It was a great feeling.
I had a nice day.

The Blessed Memories.

My heart felt heavy while going to school today.
Because it's the last day of E44B.
I wished the end of this semester did't end so fast.
However,
Since there's a start, there will always be an end.
And I believe we will keep in touch with each other and
I'll treasure these friendships!

Class ended at noon.
So, proceeded to K Box and TCC at town with my class cliques.
Hope we could hang out again!
Gonna miss them alot!
Especially George, Wan Ping, Bennett, Avan, Hsi Yin, Marlene, Michelle and Eva.
So, I've decided to give a testimonial specially for each of them.
:D

George - Although he might look 'dao', deep inside him is not what he appears to be. He's warm, caring and thoughtful. Basically, he's always there when I needed company, help or facing with any problems. A selfless and rare friend that will put others before himself. I remember him waking up early in the morning just to have Mac breakfast with me at the airport, though it was a school holiday. Also, my bball companion and has a great passion for sports. Overall, he has given me a different and wider perspective of what a friend should be and I thank God for blessing me with such a great friend. Thanks George! All the best for your O lvl Eng! :D

Wan Ping - A bubbly and cheerful gal. Whenever I hang out with her, she doesn't fail to skip/ run to her destination. lol. She has the same interests as me, such as watersports and sun tanning. Glad to know her as a friend because she made me comprehend things that I shouldn't do. I still remember the time when I got pissed off and complained to her about the director who was the invigilator for my fyp. She told me it was his job to ask questions. Abruptly, I realised that it was wrong on my part to bitch about him and I should be more understanding regarding that matter. This is what friends are for.. one who will honestly correct my childish way of thinking.. regardless whether I like it or not. I really appreciate it alot! Thanks Wan Ping! :D

Bennett - Aka Homer. A potential student-faciliator in RP especially during Biomedical Instrumentation. lol. He loves to joke and laugh alot and also, has talent for games. Known for his stunts in class, such as 'locking' the class door and asking you for the imaginary key to open it in order to enter the class. hahaha. Basically, he's a fun and generous friend who always 'longbang' me back to east after hangouts. Thanks alot Bennett! :D

Avan - Aka Desmond aka ah-bang(muscular) body! After today's K box, I realised that he has the potential to be a singer. ok lar.. he don't look that bad lar. hahaha. He's a fun friend whom I never fail to 'suan' to the extend that I think he's tolerance level is quite high. A hard to sought friend from the crapping aspect. Basically, I meant that he's one who can crap along with you. lol. My bball companion too. Minimise on those whitening and face products lar! :p And faster re-scan those neoprints leh! hahaha. Anyway, truly nice having you in class! keep in touch! Let's play bball more often! :D

Hsi Yin - After an incident, I realised that she's a friend that won't betray you. It's difficult to get a secret from her, thus, making her trustworthy and worth keeping as a friend. A nice person to be with too. She doesn't like her veg and when she buys fish noodle soup from school, she'll give me her all vegs. haha. Anyway, thanks for the vegs and glad to know you! Let's 'ton' next time! :D

Marlene - Aka Lisa aka empress dowager. She has an imaginary bf, collin. If you find it familiar, yes, it's extracted from "Simpsons, the Movie". haha. Anyway, back to serious business. Known her for 2 semesters. She loves going to coffee bean too, just like me. Overall, she's a nice and gentle lady who never fails to be teased at by bennett whenever she has the desire to go to the loo. lol. Anyway, nice knowing you and thanks for the apple juice! :D

Michelle - My dear in class. She's always asking us to go for breaks. haha. Can't imagine the days without her next sem..cos she's partly the cream of the crop of laughter. Vividly, I can remember the days when Bennett hung her handphone and MP3 pouch on my class speakers and Wan Ping and I showered her body products from Body Shop. Not forgetting Jia Jia Liang Teh! lol. It was certainly hilarious. I love to tease her as her expression is priceless. hahaha. Anyway, sorry if I went overboard at times and thanks for everything! :D

Eva - Recently played bball with her. A fast learner. Known her since last semester and it's always pleasing fun having her in my team. She's quick to catch my wrong pronounciations, such as pass band (supposed to be band pass) which in return made it tremendously hilarious. I could remember the funny days when she heard DPC(Digital Processor Chip) as Digital Potato Chips. I bet she was hungry at that juncture! lolx. We laughed till our tummies hurt. Damn.. I miss those days! Anyway, may God bless you in all your endeavours and do keep in touch! Thank you for all the fun and laughter! Let's play more bball together!! :D

great day.

Start off the day well by playing monopoly.
nonono..
It wasn't intentional.
It was part of my accounting module.
After today's problem,
I realised that monopoly is a significant game to yet-to-be accountants.
Although there was alot of transactions to be carried out after that,
I had fun which was the important part of the lesson.
Personally, I think that process is more important than results.
Don't mistaken me,
I don't mean that we shouldn't give a damn about results
But instead, give more emphasis and focus on the process.

Anyway, after lesson was the dreaded Instrumentation Test
Not to my surprise,
The UT was easy.
Alot of theory qns.
Which was my forte.
But I don't think it's easy to score.
Nvm, it's okay.
Whatever the result is,
I'm satisfied.

Proceeded to cine to watch "不能说的秘密"
Took neoprints with Wan Ping, Bennett, Hsi Yin, Marlene, Avan and Eva.
To my amazement,
The story plot is nice.
I don't mind watching it again.
My favourite part was the battle of the pianos and the twist of the story.
The lead actress, Lun Mei-Kwai, has charisma.
Hence, it was pleasing to watch the show.
Overall, it's an atypical show.
Not those kind that shows 2 lead actor/actress crossing the road
Thinking of each other
And not knowing they had just met.

Finally, I comprehended the theme song of "不能说的秘密".
Especially my favourite lyrics,

As there was this scene in the show
Where Jay and the lead actress was 'hiding' from the rain.
In my perspective, Jay's crying and emo scene was hilarious.
However, he's acting has improved tremendously
I recommend it to my friends who haven catch it yet.
During the holidays,
Gonna sought the piano scores for it
It's time to visit Yamaha bookshop again.

Damn It!

I've made a wrong decision.
It would have been perfect if I listened to my intuition.

Slept the whole morning of Saturday.
My mind was out of this world till night.
Didn't have to think, solve problems and analyse their consequences.
Until now.
Only bball keeps my mind off from all these stuffs.
One torturing week since I last touch it.

Not my day.

It was FYP presentation today.
Woke up earlier than usual.
Neighbourhood bus got screwed up.
Had to be in school by 7.30am
And at 7am, there wasn't any bus in sight.
Ended up hailing a taxi and managed to reach school in time.
During the last minute dry run,
My team's software got cock up 15 mins before the presentation.
Although the motor could run,
It did not obey the codes.
Strangely, it could work ytd.
No comments to that.
Because no one's to blame.
The bloody circuit board decided to pms us at the eleventh hour.
Well done, board!
What I can say is that it's just not our day.

During presentation,
I was annoyed by the nonsensical question the director inquired.
It was irrelevant to the purpose of my project.
Director: So what is this liquid that helped in the amplification of DNA?
*I thought I heard wrongly as this type of qn shldn't be out of a director's mouth*
Me: I beg your pardon?
Director: What is this liquid in the test tube?
Me: I'm not quite sure as our project only focuses on the software part. The liquid part should be under SAS ( School of Applied Chem)
Director: But since you are doing on the thermal cycler, aren't you suppose to touch on everything in it?
*after some murmuring from my team mates*
Me: The liquid is Enzymtic Catalyst.
Director: ohhh Enzymtic Catalyst. ok.. you can carry on.
!!!!!!!!!
After that, it came to this slide where we had a picture on the thermal cycler.
Director: So what is that picture on your right?
*As heading of the slide shows, Current phase of a thermal cycler*
Team: It is a picture on the thermal cycler.
Director: So what is the difference in these 3 thermal cyclers shown there?
Team: It is just the different models.
Director: oh..then where do you put the test tube in for amplification?
Team: You see the open lid in the picture, the test tube will be put in there.
Director: oh ok..

I was astonished such a qn was asked by the DIRECTOR of SEG.

As my team and I had to unwind after the presentation,
We went to Vivo to catch "Rush Hour 3"
Roy and I smuggled BK in.
Thanks to Hock Boon's big yet empty bag.
lol.
Overall, it's a hilarious show
The middle part got a little boring that I almost fell asleep.
But I managed to be awake because at that moment,
Roy passed me the box of popcorn.
hahaha! :D
As I had insufficient sleep these few days,
went to Gloria Jean for coffee.
Hock Boon and Duan Hua gave Roy and I some riddle to solve.
After hearing Roy's and Hock Boon's guesses to the answer,
I couldn't help but laugh very loudly.
Both of them make a good match at "Just for Laughs".

As I was still feeling hungry,
Our next stop was Haagen Daz.
Bought a single scoop Rum and Raisin.
It seems that everytime when I'm feeling low,
Rum and raisin would cheer me up.
It really made my day.

why does history repeats itself?

My day din start off well today
Woke up seeing a patch of clouds.
we name it the 'emo cloud'
As a result, I cancelled my plan to go swimming.
So, I wanted to msg my friend telling her that I can mit her earlier at airport.
At the same time,
Received wp's msg abt a sucker.
Read it and din feel good.
No matter who she was typing about
It's still not nice.
Overall, I think it ruined her reputation
Because if she can say about someone
Who knows, she might say about you too.
That was my thoughts during the bus trip to airport.
Met denise
We always have smth to laugh.
Mit weird and hilarious things together.
Just like the cleaner in the toilet "meow-ing" away.
It scared the shit out of her.
I laughed till my ribs hurt.
Ytd she asked whether am I interested to help out in the Standard Chartered Triathlon.
So, I've confirmed today that I'll be helping out.
Feeling excited.
haha.
Went town after that to check the price of psp and sports stuff.
Realised that I tend to go town after airport.
lol.
When i went msn,
It occurred to me that history always repeat itself.
I felt that I don't worth anything in the team.
Even micro organisms do worth a thing.
I'm feeling extremely tired.
Tired of all the conflicts.
Why can't everyone live in harmony
Isn't it happier and peaceful that way?

what a day.

After school, I had a last minute fyp meeting as it was the last day for fyp submission.
Caleb, my supervisor was being a smelly ass.
I seriously think he deserves to be shot.
Relishes in giving us work at the eleventh hour.
Moreover, he's a contradictory.
When my boss (leader) called him to clarify on the designing of the hardware stuff,
He told him it was neatly done in our report.
But that wasn't the case when he sent us the e-mail for things to edit.
Caleb included that we had to draw the thermal cycler.
Hence, Boss and I wasted our time discussing whether to literally draw the interior of the object too before deciding to call him.
I pity boss because he had already drew the exterior part of the thermal cycler before calling caleb.
He felt like strangling him.
I felt like spamming him.
haha.

After fyp, I went for Bball
Due to my frustrations at fyp, I vented it all out at bball
So, it was a disaster.
Out of 10 layups, I think only 6 went in.
I abhor seeing 'Air' and 'rebounce' shots when I shoot.
Utterly disappointed.
The weather was peculiar
When we went out to outdoor court, it started drizzling
However, when we made our way out of school,
The rain stopped.

Thank goodness it wasn't a match.
As bball is the vital thing in my life.
I remembered one of my RJ qn was "what's the stability of my life"
Without consideration, I wrote bball because its the prime of my life.
My old injury acted up again.
So, I've to cease bball for a few days.
It's back to no-life and sleep all-day days.

42th Birthday - Singapore

Today is National Day - Happy Birthday Singapore! :D

Woke up early morning to have breakfast with George at airport.
Wan Ping and Bennett joined us in the afternoon
Airport brought back alot of good and bad memories
But after proceeding to terminal 1's viewing mall,
I realised that I do not miss him that much anymore
The hurt is gone and felt joyful leaving that place.
Before leaving for marina square,
I had a memorable ride on the luggage trolley.
haha!
All thanks to George.
lol!
Went to esplanade to watch fireworks.
It was a spectacular sight.
No word could express how beautiful and amazing those fireworks were.
Just like how wonderful Singapore is.
Thank God for placing me in Singapore :D

This week has been eventful.
Played bball on Mon and Wed with george, ky and avan.
It was a pleasing yet challenging match.
Blister & muscle aches came haunting me and had to walk like a penguin the next day.

On tues, queued at donut factory for an hour.
Although i was 1/2 awake and my leg was killing me
it was an interesting wait.
wp generously gave me a coffee almond(I think) donut ytd.
I preferred the glazed donuts to the assorted.
However, thanks alot for the donut, wp! :)

Throughout the entire trip back home
I've been thinking whether I should skip Applied Chem tmr.
Yes, indeed the lessons's boring but the company isn't.
Moreover, I'm with Avan and wp team.
That makes me wanna attend class even more
As I can 'suan' Avan.
hahaha! :p
Also, I have bball tmr.
hmm..alright.. I'll attend class.
